En el día, las tres hermanas Kisugi —Rui, Hitomi y Ai— llevan una vida tranquila al frente de una acogedora cafetería llamada "Cat's Eye". Sin embargo, bajo el manto de la noche, su existencia da un giro radical. Movidas por la desesperada búsqueda de su padre, el célebre artista Michael Heintz, desaparecido misteriosamente, las hermanas se transforman en la audaz y enigmática ladrona conocida como "Cat's Eye". Su audaz plan consiste en irrumpir en galerías de arte, con la esperanza de que las obras de su padre les ofrezcan alguna pista sobre su paradero.
La situación se complica aún más para Hitomi, quien mantiene una relación sentimental con Toshi, un perspicaz inspector de policía empeñado en dar caza a la escurridiza "Cat's Eye". Toshi, ajeno por completo a la doble vida de su amada, se encuentra en una encrucijada, persiguiendo a la mujer que ama sin saberlo.
