Hiro, un chico con dos pasiones desbordantes: el béisbol y el manga para adultos. Su sueño de brillar en el campo se ve truncado por una lesión en el codo, obligándolo a renunciar al deporte y a elegir una preparatoria sin equipo de béisbol. Mientras tanto, su amiga de la infancia, Hikari, asiste a otra institución junto a Hideo, la estrella indiscutible del béisbol, ambos anhelando que Hiro no hubiera abandonado su primer amor.
En su nueva escuela, Hiro se une al equipo de fútbol, donde conoce a Haruka. Ella es una chica encantadora pero torpe, hija del jefe de su padre, y además, la encargada del club de béisbol no oficial de la preparatoria. Cuando el equipo de fútbol decide desafiar al club de béisbol en un partido con intenciones de humillarlos, la arrogancia de los futbolistas despierta algo en Hiro. Al ver cómo el equipo de béisbol está a punto de caer, su pasión por el juego lo impulsa a cambiar de bando y unirse al campo de juego.
