Yaeko Mitamura, una joven de 18 años, lleva una vida tranquila trabajando en el restaurante de okonomiyaki de su padre. Todo cambia cuando conoce a Hashizo, un niño peculiar acompañado de su extraño gato Juliano. Hashizo, huérfano desde muy pequeño, ha sido criado por su hermano mayor, Go Kato, el carismático vocalista de la banda de rock emergente "Bee Hive".
