Emily, una niña huérfana, se ve obligada a dejar atrás su vida anterior tras la partida de su padre. Su destino la lleva a la Isla del Príncipe Eduardo, donde deberá adaptarse a su nueva realidad junto a sus parientes: la tía Elizabeth, la tía Laura y su primo Jimmy.
